I am just a girl, what could I possibly know?A Poem by aleena1805In uniqueness is togetherness, in darkness light, Somebody somewhere said “fight for what you
believe in” and we just heard “fight!” But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know? The useless
fights, too many sides Never ending
confusion of the fertile minds But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know? Everyone
struggling to see the wrong from right I just have too
many questions, how to decide? But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know? I talk far from my
expertise; I see the world with different eyes Am I right or is
it just another perspective? It isn't for me to
decide I am just a girl,
what could I possibly know? Everybody
intolerant of the other, am I saying too much? Do I bother? Judging by the
looks, I just might be.. But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know? I love to see the
good things too The splatter of
the rain and the Prussian blue! But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know? The nursery poems
of kindness and dreams, The fairy tales and
charming prince, a nightmare now without any clue. I can only hope
and so do you But, I am just a
girl, what could I possibly know?
