The Lotus

The Lotus

A Poem by alec merdin
"

just a poem of some musing's

"
The flower of estranged love
The flower that points its fragile rapier at the world
As it blooms in vital need of the light
That other flowers gouge on with little grace
The lotus daintily opens in graceful thanks to the sun and showers it in it's inner beauty
Such is the beauty of estranged fragile love

An interesting and decent poem with some good natural imagery. This musing is good, but it could use some extra lines to help get your point across further with what you are trying to demonstrate here. The structure is good, but I just really feel like its lacking more detail that can be more fleshed out.
