I might be someone's nightmare yet sweet dream of someone else's. I am your biggest fear and source of power at the same time. I was the person who witnessed the silent tears in the bathroom. I was the person who demanded you to taste the gastric and disgusting dregs of your favorite food in the bathroom, too. I kept the razor that made you bleed so you could feel alive. I was the person who punished you for not being good enough. I disliked you. I hated you. I wished you had never existed!
But look now... you're standing in front of me. Brave, strong, thoughtful, and cheerful. You look happier than ever. I'm glad. I'm glad that you conquered me. I'm glad that you won the battle! I'm glad that you're alive. People would say still you're not skinny or pretty, but it's okay. You are valuable.
They could still not love you but it's fine, because right now I'm going to love you. I'm going to be the friend you need. I'm going to win you back because I am you. You are me. I am your vulnerability. I am, too, your entirety.
