A game for fate

A game for fate

A Poem by Shane Brooks
"

this like most my pieces goes all over but the are ghost in my house and they are in this song

"

would you like to play a game?

well it's your move

frightened

almost everynight ends

I'm alone in my bed

watching as the shadows move in

doom

gloom

who knew

the boogiman was always real

and he's come to bring you

an open invitation

to play this game here with me

we'll go deep inside our heads

to deep to believe

broke

mouths'still livin to fight the fight

I'll do anything to quicken the pace

get in the pit we'll all benifit

throw an elbow right to my face

I seek the light

live till dusted

the right frame of mind

in myself I have trusted

and I've pulled me through everytime

and I know right where I belong

even if I dont know

who I am

it's a game for fate

fate versus destiny

a pawn in chess

a grim hope at best

You are such a great writer! I started to judge your writing by your titles and I'm sorry, and I'm glad i didn't. Just being very honest.

I like it. Especially the last verses.
"it's a game for fate

fate versus destiny

a pawn in chess

a grim hope at best" Good job!
