Nosebleed

Nosebleed

A Poem by Jason Henry

This, an existence I never knew.
Porque do you pertrude?
Interrupting my game of rock, paper, hedgeclipper.
...ah. Exosphere!
Plunged headfirst into the depth of altitude
As air consumes being: A flame's vocation here
Trapped within the trapeze simile.
Why do you now taunt me with marshmellow soaked in cardon dioxide?
I want to feel the precipitation enrapture this,
The hallucinogenic madman! Me!

The left eye focuses on the temporal;

The right, occipital.
Simultaneous sick smells of smellingsalts

And confusion wrap me in  content pseudosupraconsciousness.

But all you see is an egg-white orb. Yet,

Gradual re-emergence of a forgotten brown iris.

I loathe the sigh while

Beautiful oxygen displaces a feared molecule.

Seconds welcomed the minutes to usher hours:
Perspective retrieved.
I welcome you. I welcome tissue, for
This I bled,
This instead,
'Tis my life.
This is red.

The is AWESOME! Best line is "...ah. Exosphere!" Man, this is going in my favourites. I'm gonna read some of your other stuff. Well done

I like this although I don't really understand it. It's going to take a few more readings for me to be able to have an idea of what you're saying in the first half...the second half is more approachable. Your use of words is formidable and enchanting.

Well, dang. Gradual re-emergence of a forgotten brown iris. -- WHEW!
Original thinking to say the least! *applauds*

Ok, in all honesty, this poem was overwhelmingly informative, but in the most modest, and abstract way. Your style of writing is definitely unique, but such is poetry right? A unique expression of self and self experiences. Keep it up!
