my theology

God is not a woman, god is not a man

God is the coupling and birthing of the clan

God is not the sun, god is not the moon

God is the bouncing of sun off the moon

God is not a mountain, god is not a tree

God is the erosion and blossoming of the lands

God is not a monument, god is not a tablet of stone

God is the galactic bits tossing the dice

God is not a person, God is not a noun. 

God is the verve, of life’s persistent verbs.

I swear to GOD, I was ready to reject this, just on the title alone. I'm not highly tolerant of most attempts to define God. But for the first time in I can't remember how long, I love this description of God & it's so close to how I see it, too! It's a wide-open field, insulted by the mere human ability to imagine, since our weenie-sized imaginations are NOTHING compared to the concept of God. But you managed to keep it very simple, using spot-on comparisons that start a little earthly, but are soon flying high with expansive possibilities (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Well albee, I'm not too sure what to make of this. It sounds like a tongue in cheek guide to theology. A list of what God is and what he is not. My fav line is about the Galactic bits tossing the dice. Einstein said the God doesn't play dice with the universe and I've noticed that predictive texting has changed god's lower case to upper. Are you saying that God is not the object, it is the action? Interesting idea.
