The Dragon and Phoenix

The Dragon and Phoenix

A Poem by Alastor

A Phoenix with passion, fiercely it burns
Love for another, forever it yearns
I am The Phoenix, I crave my lost half
To feel her oppose me, settle my wrath

The Dragon with lust, the craving of flesh
Desire for skin, temptation, that mesh
You are that Dragon, you crave me like sin
To feel me 'round you, as you burn within

I can tell by the way that you shift your eyes
It's no surprise
We're just a compliment to the others flaws
So use your claws
I made you feel the passion, and me, the lust
So can't we just
Forget this forsaken world, just for tonight?
No need to fight

We're caught in the flow, the lulling of tide
The yin and the yang, we seal with our pride
We dance devil games, again and again
When I am inside you, inside your den

My flame burns so bright when we are combined
Your grip is so tight, your curves so defined
My flames shall now sear, you're in perfect form
Your claws they will tear, just like devil's scorn

That look that you give me, I know it so true
My flames are blue
Makes me a Phoenix again, just like before
While on the floor
We tangle our knots of love, lust, and sex
The perfect mix
As The Dragon shall bite, The Phoenix will burn
It's now my turn

Because...

Again we're whole
My long lost soul
The page it folds
A story so old
The clash, the fall
Of titans so tall

I'm you, you're me
My love, I'm free
This pain is gone
This can't be wrong

Let this last eternally
