all the time

all the time

A Poem by ~amanda~
"

i try so hard to hate you.

"

I hate you all the time

Except when you smile at me,

And I feel myself melting into you,

Again and again.

I hate you all the time,

Except when we lay entangled,

Blissful in our ignorance,

Unaware of the pain it will soon cause.

I hate you all the time,

Except when you kiss me,

Once more,

With feeling,

And I delude myself into thinking,

We have a chance,

I hate you all the time,

Except for the moments,

When I find,

I don’t really hate you,

As much as I think I do.

Like your poem, "Touch Me", I identify with this! I like the repeating line, the flow is great, good rhythm and
my favorite lines are, " blissful in our ignorance, unaware of the pain it will soon cause." Although I think, on some level, we are VERY aware of the pain it will cause! But that four letter word, HOPE, comes into play, as we hope, this time, it will be different. What's that saying-insanity is doing something the same way over and over, but expecting different results. Something like that! Good write! Barbara

I think we all have someone like this in our lives at least once that is bad for us but somehow we return to them for those small amounts of pleasure we receive then get tons of heartache in return. I've been there and relate to this.

All the time...that's exhausting! Unless he is 'entangled, blissful-ly in your ignorance'. Isnt it funny when you realize fine the line is for love, and hate.
Enjoyed! Lyrical

the pleasure of pain... how we endure it always hoping for something more... you have nailed this emotion nicely Amanda!

Faerie Blessings!

Oh Amanda, I like this one. I think every woman has felt this way at some point. Very true and well written.
