I love this! But what, exactly, is a bodger and a munrobagger? We have a lot of colloquialisms here in the Southern US, many from Scots-Irish roots. But these I've not heard of. Congratulations on your many accomplishments. My list would be much shorter!

I guess that I've been lucky to have had more time to pursue all these interests. A bodger is someone who turns his hand to all sorts of DIY tasks. A munro IS Scottish mountain over 3000 ft so a munrobagger is someone who climbs them (282).
All the best,
Alan

Ah! That explain the last name Munro. There are lots of Munros (or Munroe) in these parts.
We are all many things and wear many hats in life. Is there a site where you display your woodwork?
So… are you a full monroist?

A billion and one labels... But the only one that matters is... Human.
We come from the same genetic soup. We all have the same potential. We all come into the world the same way. We all leave the same way. With nothing.
Lessons for a world...

Hope all is well with you and yours and are all propellorly hunkered down for the winter.

Hi Alan, how have you found the time to fit so many different things into your life. I wouldn't even have a third of those in my list. Those Munros would have me beat for sure. The knees are shot, as well as the back and the shoulders and the elbows. Put me down. Love the content, my friend. Have a wonderful evening....Mike.

Very clever, I must admit I had never heard of a Munrobagger, I’ll have to look up the Welsh equivalent.

Married with three kids, I retired early from teaching physics but have always enjoyed mountains. In my forties I experienced a manic episode which kick-started a creative urge. I've written a novel .. more..
