we were not designed that way
A Poem by alan peter kelly
the first we knew it would not cease was on day five
and at waist deep in the main street
we bit our lips against the fray
and hoped for it to dissipate
our souls distraught inside the doom
at end of day we could not pray
for at the time we were resigned
and knew full well that we were not
designed that way

the most itriguing aspect of this poem is in its composition~ I read it as a rhythmic chant~my brain processed it in double beat rhymes though the the double beat is purely conceptual on my personal part~ and that is the magik of this~ wether you did it subconsciously or consciously doesn't matter~ it is a poem that is processed on a higher sideways level~ bravo!
