when birds die
A Poem by alan peter kelly
birds do not complain
when they pass away
they die quietly
and while i know
even birds would prefer
to pass
in the comfort
of company
when they
fall
it's quiet
with no complaint
or pageantry

I love birds. The speak in music and embody the free spirit in flight. I have very little fear of death but a great deal of concern about the condition of humanity. Your poem is wonderful advice.
Your poem itself is quiet, without pageantry. One thing I adore is when the form and subject matter agree with and enhance one another, as they do in this poem.

Seeing them die is never easy and of course if they are in too much pain? But the birds who call my back yard their day care centre...when their time comes...come down to earth as if to say goodbye and thank you...ive had LOTS of PARROTS omg just like KIDS ha ha ty for the read and i will reciprocate very soon. :)

Ah there's always some generic influence but that having been said...im happy that it turned out to form a whole bowl with few visible seams cracks or edges. Im back here on a more permanent basis now and look forward to reading your mind and its imagination. :)
