Unheard

A Poem by alankillsmonsters

Unheard

She was a wave that swamped me, spun me & slammed me across.

In the vast ocean she was the one; dark & flawed.

Her untamed roar shrilled my spine.

With the force of her's, she crumpled down my shrine.

It's a beautiful poem of a broken heart with the best use of words to describe how her leave is affecting you. Those last two lines are too good.

'Her untamed roar shrilled my spine' I think this line is showing some fright, isn't it? But very well written! Good job!😊😊
