Chapter 2 - In which the venues are selected

Before the quest could be begun in earnest, some preparation was in order. Firstly, the list of establishments to be visited had to be solidified. The groundwork of this had been done by the aforementioned magazine, but this had to be vetted, reviewed and consolidated before Alan would consent to set foot inside a single one of these beef-patty vendors. He considered his time far too precious to be wasted on a sub-standard ‘restaurant’, and so after six minutes of intense research and discussion, the pair had their final list. Which they then changed twice again. It read (in no particular order):

1.       Schillerburger
2.       Berlin Burger International
3.       Tommi’s Burger Joint
4.       To Beef or Not To Beef
5.       Lily Burger
6.       Volta
7.       White Trash
8.       The Bird
9.       Burger de Ville
10.       Bunsmobile

Schillerburger was first on the list, as both of our heroes were currently residing in Friedrichshain, Schillerburger has a restaurant on Wühlischstr., and our heroes are pretty lazy. White Trash and The Bird lay further down the list, as both had been visited before. Burger De Ville and Bunsmobile are both mobile ‘burger vans’ (ordinarily to be avoided like the plague unless one is at a sporting event, or simply too drunk to care) and so these would have to be visited when the opportunity arose. (Okay, so I guess there was some kind of an order to the list)
