Ghosts

Ghosts

A Poem by Alka

We all have a ghost don't we
A ghost who we are terrified of
A ghost who changed us for better or for worse
A ghost that stops us from something beautiful that might be right there at the corner
We fret ,we antagonise what lays ahead
A ghost who visits me every night
Reminds me how I didn't make it
How life is treacherous and therefore not to be a victim again
While I lay there confused
Should I take my chances
Or be wary of my actions all my life

I agree many kinds of ghost. Regret, sadness and bad action can haunt our life and dreams.

I believe we must learn from our ghost and become better people. The ghosts are just reminding us. We shall pay for every sin. Thank you Alka for sharing the excellent poetry.
