How I feel

I didn't know what category to put this under so I just put it here.

Not being a football player has left a hole deep in me.

I've tried to fix it but I can't.

Never felt so down and so broken before.

It kills me everytime I watch a game on tv or pass by a stadium on my way home knowing that it could have easily been me.

I don't know where I lost this childhood dream of mine.

Now I feel less of a man like I can never love someone because I don't deserve to, I am not enough.

I pray to god to make me strong because he is my savior.

I keep waiting for god to make my wish come true and I know it will because god is kind and merciful.

Indeed, kind and merciful.
One would want to know why you cannot play football.
Injury, birth defect ... If one cannot play the sport, one
could be involved in another way. Sports medicine, coach,
journalist for sports, etc. Football, or should I say the lack
of it, does not make for 'less of a man'. That's sad :(
