Final Departure

Final Departure

A Poem by Aks

Final Departure

I saw your dream last night,
It was so lively that I wanted to touch you
To hold your hand and run away with you
Wanted to cry on your shoulders,
Narrate all the stories unaltered…
Wanted to tell you how much I miss you
How all these days I am living lifeless
Wanted to be with you for all the minutes, not just few.

But I guess things were different then.
Neither were you nor I was same,
Separated by distance and time
Didn’t saw the same love in your eyes,
The one who’ll never lose me at any price,
Was not there anymore.
There was a fight, an argument
No sweet words no consonance

And then I realized it was a sign
That you are going far,
To never come back, never be together again
That sometimes love is not that conquers all
Its numerous sentiments that composes life
And sometimes you have to let go most loved possession
To make your ‘LIFE’ worthwhile.
