SolitudeA Poem by akoy_hiyasThe poem describes the speaker as a strong and independent person who is always willing to lend a helping hand to others. The poem explores the duality of strength, how it can be both empowering and bI stand tall, strong, and self-reliant, Independent and fierce, never compliant. I lend a hand to all who seek aid, Offering guidance with passion and trade. But when it's my turn to face a hurdle, No one dares to ask or offer a curdle. I feel lost in the darkness of my plight, Struggling to find my way into the light. It seems my strength is both a boon and bane, For while it empowers, it also brings pain. My self-reliance leaves me isolated and alone, No one to lean on, no one to call home. So I stand here, strong and steadfast, But the weight of my burdens is vast. I yearn for someone to understand, To reach out a hand and hold my hand.
