Nipped In The BudA Poem by mobeenaA toddler is crushed to death by drunk teensNipped in the Bud
Little feet tottered on the uneven road Sharp stones hurt menacingly Against the sweet softness Of the rosy feet
With infant curiosity to explore the World Early ecstasy over his first few steps Her beloved moved in sublime effort To keep in pace with the fast moving World
A youthful three on a euphoric spree Drunk to their necks Hurried down the dingy lane Mounted on their Yamaha
Blood splashed all over- thin limbs lay
still Surrounded by grim silence Pierced sharply by the shrieking maternal
wails Drowned in the sound of the racing Yama (ha)! ---------------------------- Note: Yama is the God of Death in Indian mythology © 2016 mobeenaAuthor's Note
