You're Never in This AloneA Poem by AKAn old piece I found while cleaning up the hard drive of my other computer...
Work and school and cares of life
trials at every turn
Some days just seem to get too hard
to apply the things you've learned
And you feel there's no point in trying
you want to give up, go home
It's then you'll hear Him whisper
"Child, you're never in this alone".
In prayer, you know what matters
the altar makes things so clear
But church, too soon, is over
and God doesn't feel as near
But He's given you a calling
believe the vision that He's shown
The gifts you need are in you
and you're never in this alone.
There are others who stand beside you
although you may not see them there
Strong shields, though scarred, won't fail
each held in place through prayer
So join your hand unto the battle
soon we'll meet before the throne
You my friend make a difference
and you're never in this alone!
