In Prayer Until He Comes

In Prayer Until He Comes

A Poem by AK
"

The photo tells the story...

"

I can feel His holy presence
as she cries unto the Lord
The power in her travail
just cannot be ignored
And I’m drawn to the altar...
no one should fight alone
Others nearby join in prayer
as we meet before the throne

The Spirit moves so freely
when the faithful reach to Him
The angels gather round about
if they could... they would join in
A higher calling, none could ask for...
than to seek His holy face
There’s still room at this small altar,
the need has never been so great.

To some, a lovely building
to rejoice in song and praise
But this place was built for battle
just before the end of days
We meet as need arises
day and night till good fight’s won
And the bond shall not be broken
in prayer until He comes.

Render unto Ceaser that which is Ceaser's . . . . the world is forever in our face, and it seems like we have to answer for things beyond our control, and with the glut of media access and instannt communication, we are blitzed too much with the ills and the evils of this world, and one would think there is nothing left worth saving. That we are beings of Faith does not mean we hide from the world, indeed not! But Faith does give us a shield to wade through it all, with the assurance that even in defeat, the ultimate victory is His.

A great read. Each word flows so well into the next. Keep the flame alight brother. Even in the face of the horrors we must endure, true love shines from this poem.

Ah D, your fire and light for Him awaken my own fight for His grace. God help us never to forget why we are here and what we have been given. You have been given the gift of His voice through your words to those of the likes of me. Thank you for this. Again. ~j
