I'll Miss Each of YouA Poem by AKI finally got my "forever job" with British Petroleum in 1989. Two years later my position was "downsized". This was for my coworkers, I left them smiling.
Though roses are red
today I feel blue
You see, I am leaving
I’ll miss each of you
We’ve worked side by side
and we’ve had many laughs
I’m so disappointed
this job didn’t last
So I’ll bid you goodbye
as I turn now to go
Just one more thing
I want you to know
I’ll remember each face
for the rest of my life
Yes… I’ll miss each of you...
like I miss my ex-wife.
