I'll Miss Each of You

I'll Miss Each of You

A Poem by AK
"

I finally got my "forever job" with British Petroleum in 1989. Two years later my position was "downsized". This was for my coworkers, I left them smiling.

"

Though roses are red
today I feel blue
You see, I am leaving
I’ll miss each of you
We’ve worked side by side
and we’ve had many laughs
I’m so disappointed
this job didn’t last
So I’ll bid you goodbye
as I turn now to go
Just one more thing
I want you to know
I’ll remember each face
for the rest of my life
Yes… I’ll miss each of you...

like I miss my ex-wife.

I came into the parking lot this morning thinking of the latest batch of people who have been layed off. This was a nice little surprise. Jobs are only jobs. We don't marry them. It's good to remember that change is good. And if we don't search it out, sometimes we must embrace it when it comes to us. :)

Now that's funny! Nothing like a cow chip over the shoulder at them! Sheesh!

This was just wonderful. Full of your great outlook on life and your zest. Leave them with a chuckle. Great write as always.

Ouch! I am certain that each person felt the love with this little ditty! Nothing like a nice sentiment followed up with a left hook! Nice.
