Before You Can Doubt It

He's always nearby... waiting.

 

Dark and alone

where no one has stood

save only you and your God ?

 

Missions ahead

so much to do

this path, it seems, never trod?

 

Without help there’s no hope

He knew that of course

and planned the way in detail

 

The Spirit from Him

provides us His strength

when ours waxes weak and pale

 

We have only to stand

firm in the way

letting Him do His will

 

A vessel of honor

compassion and faith

ready, and quiet, and still

 

Listen and feel

let Him touch your heart

only in God through prayer

 

Don’t wander or stumble

get up if you fall

and before you can doubt it… you’re there

This is a perfect piece for me to read today, ty Dale.

Beautiful. How many of us feel dark and alone from time to time? Stepping out in faith can be a very scary thing. That is where I am now. Steps are unsure, and yet I know that I know it is where I am suppose to be. Still believing for a promise that He has given me for something that is so huge, I can barely fathom it, and standing in faith to believe for it, has been difficult, but I continue to stand and believe and pray.

This poem is amazingly encouraging to me and where I am at the moment. Thank you for allowing Him to use you to bless so many others, AK!
