Won By Praise

Won By Praise

A Poem by AK
"

For my Pastor during a particularly rough time...

"
A lifetime of faithful service
that her people might stand strong
The body now worn and weary
ready to move on
Grant me the sword my shepherd
has borne in every fight
Let me carry her heavy armor
till dawn eclipses night

Give her, Lord, a place of safety
to seek guidance for the day
Her hands raised up in victory
to assure the battle goes our way
As before upon the mountain
let the prophet's standard raise
So all may know - though we are few
our fight be won by praise

Taught by faultless example
without doubt, called here to serve
Though last battle grows so costly
as others loose faith and nerve
We can look upon that mountain
and see our shepherd clear
We’ll stand our ground, just keep her safe
as good fights’ end draws near

This is profound ...It is a blessing to yourself...always to support men & women of God.

When Moses held his hands up and prayed the Hebrews kept winning the battle...when he grew wearyu
they stood by his side and held his arms up for him....as long as they did this victory continued.

Blessssssssssssss

I really loved this. We go through so many tough times in this life, but it's always wonderful to know that God is right there with us.

So nice to hear you have a woman pastor. :) We have women pastoring at our church as well. Paving the way for women in ministry in our city when there are many churches that believe a woman should not be a pastor or teach men. Thank you.
