Does He Whisper Your Name

Not very lyrical really, nothing profound. More of a reminder to me than anything else I guess...

Does He whisper your name

as you start out each day

And stay right there with you

when you kneel to pray

Does He sweep over your soul

till you’re lost in His realm

And if gales do come 

does He steady your helm

Does your anchor hold safely

when those storms of life blow

Is He on your mind

wherever you go

 Do tears of joy fall

when you read His word

Do you still recall

when His voice was first heard

Do other folks ask

will you pray with me

Does your life celebrate

that He set you free

Do you strive everyday

to be more like Him

Do you radiate hope

by His spirit within

And without even asking

do you kneel with a friend

When you know they are struggling

to endure to the end

And when hard work is done

has good ground been gained

As you finish each day

does He whisper your name?

For one, I don't understand why you say this is "nothing profound" and "not very lyrical" because I think this is gorgeous!
It states all that I believe and so much more!
