InevitableA Story by akarustyIt starts with an innocent fancy, then it spirals much further...
Inevitable We first met at a time almost forgotten, when acquaintances were just and left unmarked upon our brows, Like paint torn from an open canvas, And nothing prepared me henceforth, for the question marks to guide me forwards and sideways, running from what lay behind; for the endless wondering of circumstance, Like a moth intrigued by a dancing flame, So how weird a feeling it was to be, for one event to draw physical and mental into far-apart universes of fact and fiction, Like an explorer marvelling at new-born worlds and wondering what will become, And then decisions were sketched again in full, after careful considerations, to shape intrigue into an outlined possibility. Like a scholar, who marvels for greater opportunity, But, of course, such admirations combined with a gut-pounding entity bring to surface a false hope, Like the irony of a lumbered iron weight, floating freely across the ocean, Such hope of a deceiving nature of course leads in turn to the inevitable confrontation. Like facing your ultimate fear. © 2008 akarustyReviews
