Back again, Undignified, with curtains closed Inside, where my emotions hide Discreet from public eye And far from anywhere Called home But I call them home For more brave endeavours Having saved most of their energy Whilst I’ve barely perused Other ventures in which to find My muse But I’m directionless at most Between writers block And likely self denial, Affectionless to feeling As, rightly said, it’s all been Clocked before but still far Too long ago In fairness, too young to find question And not bold enough to care, My impression lay somewhere Between two worlds, weirdly Reminding me of an old friend Of mine Yet amazingly, indefinitely I step out with barrels ablaze, Fingers twitching, without doubt Itching, for now, to save the world, As I’m about the only one That can
