He sits in meditation
A monk atop moment mountain
There he feeds off the air
And nests on the brittle grass,
Shaken by winds from the east
And hardened by gusts from the west

His mind is a marbled stone
Awaiting thoughts to chisel
Once they pass the test
Their markings are inscribed
As a symbol across his naked scalp:
On another distant mountain
