Butter..Fly..

Butter..Fly..

A Poem by Akankshya Mishra
"

An Ode to the tiny butterfly who waits to make its first flight and the pouring rains has captured its wings . It never loses hope . We should never lose hope.

"

Rains pouring by, diminishing city lights,

Beside the quarry, under the deep blue sky,

Stood a panting butterfly.

Is there life, still in the hive?

Can I survive, make my first flight?

Wide wings, nothing to hide.

Waiting under these vines,

Tinkles of droplets being wry,

How can rest of them smile?

Days, nights passed by.

Stood there numb and alive.

All around everyone closing eyes.

Hope is my ray of light.

Kept ringing in its mind.

You, one day I’ll  surely fly.
