Why I loved you

You may ask why I loved you, 

but you should know the reason.

I loved you too much to let you go,

but you just stepped on me and shot me down.

I loved you even though you were

mean,

reckless, 

annoying,

arrogant,

terrible,

cold hearted.

I loved you because I saw beneath all those things, 

but you know what?

Now there's a barrier cutting me off from the real you, 

and I don't even know why I loved you.
