OrphanA Poem by aisling virginiaOh gosh >.< I don't really like this one..
She was an orphan
Her mother the moon Her father the sun Their sghosts circled her night and day Her father dying again each night To let her mother breathe. She was an orphan One of the prettiest girls I've seen Blazing red hair Eyes like ice Blue on the edge of her irises, Freezing slowly as the blue becomes almost white Absolutely beautiful. She was an orphan Her mother's eyes Her father's hair Her own personality. She was quiet Mysterious, almost unknown I'd never met anyone like her When she would speak it was like the smooth flow of a river, running over pebbles and never seeming to end It was beautiful, the way she spoke. She was an orphan Who was able to captivate me With a look of her eyes, a touch of her hand, a word from her mouth. I fell in love with this orphan girl. She was an orphan Her mother the moon Her father the sun And I was her lover. © 2013 aisling virginia |
