Late Night Walk Through the GraveyardA Poem by aisling virginiaI make my way slowly through the rows of tombstones
Great slabs of stone, standing ominously just below my waist I glance around, wary of my surroundings I'm not even sure why I came this way, I could have just cut through the field But now I'm stuck in this haunting graveyard The cool autumn wind nips at my cheeks Then all at once, wraps me in it's cold embrace I tug my meager sweater tighter around my body As mist starts to swirl around my feet Why oh why did I come this way? © 2013 aisling virginiaReviews
