Sorry

Sorry

A Poem by aisling virginia

I'm sorry I ever loved you.
I shouldn't have fallen so hard.
Just to have you step on my body.
And laugh at my broken shards.

I'm sorry I ever believed you.
Like a naive little kid.
I let you torture me.
Now a sad farewell I bid.

I'm sorry I ever knew you.
Without you I would be fine.
But now I'm scarred forever.
Never again to shine.

Deep, I love how you started off each stanza's first line with "I'm Sorry" It added great rhythm to the piece. It flowed nicely :) Great read :)
