Leaving me behind

They keep telling us its all gonna change.

But this place will always be the same.

When is life gonna get better??

I know it wont, not now, not ever.

Life around here is constantly tough.

Thats how life is for us, it will always be rough.

Putting up a front and acting really mad.

Hurting others all around you just to prove you are bad.

People will try you all of the time.

 Life out here is full of crime.

If you dont follow the strong,

you will get left behind.

And life is not fair.

But guess what?

NOBODY CARES.

So go ahead, do what you want to.

Nodody cares what you do.

Your life is as good as over man.
 But who is to say you give a damn?

Great poem! I love the way you confront the subject!
And yes everyone told me that life would be interesting and exciting, but no one ever told me it would be easy!
We all have times in life where our situation looks unchangeable and desperate, and as we look back at these times, we find they were the times that built our strength to carry us on to do the right thing in spite of all the kaos around us! Change is constant even if we cannot see it.
