LIKE WAVES

LIKE WAVES

A Poem by Amanda

Our abuse for eachother is so severe.

We scream and scream but dont even hear.

Why do we keep doing this to eachother?

When all we are supposed to do is love one another?

Just like waves, we crash and collide.

You are the one supposed to be on my side.

Inside my heart is breaking.

You think its anger because my fists are shaking.

Our opinions are adverse.

Which is proven every time we scream and curse.

Just what kind of love do we have??

I thought it was good.

But maybe its bad.

Is what we have hate?

Did everything we have turn out to be fake?

You called us a team.

It was you on which I thought I could lean.

We keep saying we are gonna try.

That one day I'll be your wife.

Should we just say goodbye?

Can we do this for the rest of our lives?

I want it to be ride or die.

Not trying to let you hear me cry.

So let's try a little bit harder.

Maybe we will make it a little bit farther.

You ARE my man.

Next to you, I need to stand.

You make me stronger.

So lets try for a little bit longer.

I know it's a challenge, but I do love you.

Now i need to know, do you love me to?

I really enjoyed this stanza all because of the sad face.
How did you do that. That set the mood off.
I enjoyed that.
