I continue to ask myself why,

why do this to me

to your best friend

To cause so much pain to a person

who admitted they fell for you

I want to think it's because I shared too much

but if you were real about all you said

and you really loved me back

the way you acted you did,

then you wouldn't have taken advantage

of all the information coming through your brain.

I like this poem so far! Being played around with in love is tortuous and saddening and I think your poem conveys that feeling well. There are some lines that could use some change ups, like "if you were real about all you said", perhaps you could switch 'real' with truthful or honest, I think it would help to clear up what you mean. But so far so good!
