The Rest

I don't associate with many
Most of these people are the same
they're the same dullness over and over again
I prefer ones who are unique and real
true to the heart and speak the truth.
I've been through too much
to deal with fakes
and to deal with people who are just talk.

Many people can be fake and put on a mask some people hide their true personalities for fear of others....

Not reffering to the same fake, but even in that sense I believe everyone should just try to be true to themselves & ignore the others because at the end of the day it matters that you're getting yourself, your real self out there. And the others are really irrelevant to your life. In this poem I am referring to people who are just talk and won't back you up as a friend, who'll leave you hanging, etc. the dullness is an act put up by a lot of people which is what you're referring to I'm assuming, but I already know that and which is why I don't associate with them, they aren't brave or bold enough to be the real them, I am and I don't care who says what, who does what, it's me, people will eventually have to accept that fact and regardless, they're irrelevant. But yes, you're right on about your comment.. I just chose not to associate with those people.
