She, He, They

She, He, They

A Poem by Andrew John

I saw him in that pub today,

and she was with him, too,

and that other fella, hmm.

You often wonder, often ponder.

I stopped for a moment,

walking through the room,

going to the bar.

She gave me a look.

Was I being suspicious?

They certainly made me think.

Yes, you often ponder, often wonder.

He and she? He and he? She and he and he?

She-he-he sounds like the cast for an orgy.

well at least we understand each other now Andrew :)
Yes, I often ponder and wonder, but then I’m old fashioned. All this pronoun malarkey and the rest, just ain’t my cup of tea. Having said that, live and let live but don’t expect me to change my thinking. A poem of the times Andrew. Most topical.

Perhaps I was extending the wrong end of the stick. You know me! I play around with words.
