No Need to GoA Poem by Andrew JohnSonnet
I feel I'm half a different person now,
and cringe at what I said a year ago. So did I really say all that, and row? But surely not, not that, oh no, oh no. Yet how can I not know that such a feeling had caused a type of strangeness with another? And was it such a deal that had me reeling with friend or mum or dad or sister, brother? But surely no, not that, but boundless leisure: I stroke a cat, I c**k my hat, I chat. I know this life can bring delightful pleasure: a joyous mood that is an acrobat. I'm feeling different, yes, but will not go. No wish to leave you, no - oh no, oh no. (Feb 2022)
