Blissful Forever

Blissful Forever

A Poem by Aaron Jinks

Blissful Forever

It’s moments like this that make time’s steady progression forward slow.

Dim, low lights casting a glow just bright enough to illuminate your face

That one golden strand hanging in front of your eye rebellious against the others of

a pony’s tail.

Your body so warm and hopeful, just a sip of you could make me trip over my feet.

Your saliva as sweet as golden honey,

residing in your honeycomb tongue

A wonderland you call “me.”

Time stops when these moments start.

Time starts when these moments stop.

Let’s let these moments move forward.

They must,

continue on.

Forever.
