Get Away

Get Away

A Poem by Aaron Jinks
"

So I used to write music and sing until I found out my singing voice was a joke, so I decided to just turn my songs into shortened poems. Hope you guys like them. :)

"
Darling, Darling this
Is going to sound crazy, baby
Just listen to me
This place, oh this this place
Is making me become undone
So undone and crazy
So when you ask
What should you do
I will say
Adventure with you
Let's get away and just escape
To an unfamiliar place
Won't you come with me,
Forget it all and have a ball, and
Let our worries fall
To the ground
These are the things we'll do each day
When we get away
I don't want you to go
Because you know, oh you know
I'm the hurt
And you're the healer who's
Remedies are stronger than
The most potent cure
I can only hope and pray for you
To say
I do
Let's get away.
