The wind caresses my face the same way

You brush my hair        away from my face.

WOOSHHHH

Darling, sing the songs I like to swoon o

But please don’t forget the best part

Chocolate. Chocolate? Yes, the ooey gooey

Delight I will be savoring when you sing to me.

For the love of every tear-stained break

A pint of coffee ice cream, and before I forget…

Hands off the chocolate.

I really enjoyed this! It's very humourous and I really like the way you painted those certain words into action by the way you wrote them. I cracked up several times while reading. I also really like the departure from the normal stereotypical relationship poems that can tend to get brain-numbing with sappiness after you've seen that type of poetry so many times. Not that the sappiness is all bad, but it gets used so much that it makes things like this a rarity and emphasizes even more how good it is. I like the way it brings relationships to a more down-to-earth form by going against a fairy tale-styled relationship. Good job!

I like this. More than i thought I would, actually.
I think it's the contrast with the usual weepy, despairing stuff about break-ups. It's a good-humoured mockery of romantic stereotypes and melodrama.
And the placing of the words and letters is fun.
