Mirror Mirror

A Poem by A Jackson

Mirror mirror on the wall

Staring at me through the scrawl

I know you see, I know you hear

The sick feeling is drawing near.

I close my eyes, I can still see

Your haunting face is watching me.

I have to rid myself of this pain

My sanity, I cannot regain.

My stomach turns, it burns inside,

I've said goodbye to my little pride.

I take the pills and swallow them deep,

I disappear into my sleep.

Mirror mirror, can you see

What you have done to me.

Yep. You are welcome...:)...................
Impeccable rhythm and rhyme in this one. Good parody of the Snow White rhyme. The upbeat rhythm belies the darkness of the words. Hopefully this is just poetry and not the state of mind you are currently experiencing. Very well written. lydi**
