I wonder...

I wonder...

A Poem by Amber Bein

I Wonder…

I wonder if the stars, shining all through night

Get tired and need to reenergize

From a night of lighting up the sky

I wonder if the light, shining with all his might

Ever wants to give up the fight

And succumb to the mistress, night

I wonder if the wind ever feels content

With new directions and speeds

Not a single day of being the same, she needs

I wonder if grass feels crushed

From being walked on and cut

Being on the bottom of a game of luck

I wonder if trees ever feel wasted

With no full life able to be tasted

Being rip apart and never recreated

I wonder if the rain wants to be seen

Being transparent to them must be mean

Would being opaque be their dream

I wonder the creek thinks shallow she is

Comparing to the sea, the deepness is his

Not even able to be deeper if she bubbled and fizzed

I wonder if stone hates being old

Never to know how to be young and bold

Just staying a never ending cold

I wonder if a flower ever feels ugly

Concealing their true identity

Hiding evil thrones with velvet laid petals

I wonder if the storms ever think twice,

For with their fiery and disconcern

Causing catastrophic death, are they an evil nice

I wonder if clouds ever feel like falling down

Carrying their tearful emotions

Waiting to be released by the crack and the pound
