The End In Darkness

The End In Darkness

A Poem by Amber Bein

Thou whom have not a name

Will eternally be consumed within the fiery flame

Evil sins carried though upon his thought

Forever in time will his soul be lost

The Pandora’s Box of sorts ajar

Infusing the earth with heinous both near and far

Death have but a slightest forethought

To him, the slaughter is all that is to be sought

No empathy can be found

For his humanity is hidden and inscrutably bound

He fears not of death and pain

But of the loneness spawned with by the blood that is forever stain

Being eternally alone is the only fear

Now will come to be nearer and near

Must he right the wrongs from the past

Or forever will he remain alone even beyond time’s last
