Homestead Judgement

Homestead Judgement

A Poem by Amber Bein

Every day I have to go home

Cause there’s nowhere else to go

And every time

I walk through that door

I feel worse more and more

Who are they

To judge me

All they do is look

But not see

The real person inside of me

I can no longer hide

For I am who I am

I am what I am

And

If they don’t like it

Then let them all be damned
