AnxietyA Poem by ApollosWhen has Anxiety ever added a day to your life?
I see the calamity.
Constant insanity. Fear got me pandering. Speaking Mandarin. Too numb to strive. Paralyzed by why. Thousand miles in my eye. Don’t even try. Emotional hamster. Languishing for an answer. I am the problem. Jesus came and solved them. Crucified with Christ. Severed this life. Shelter in the Most High. My Refuge. My Fortress. My God. Whom I trust. Covered by feathers. Fly by His wings. Shield of Faith. Full of grace. Feet always dry. Terror defeated. Arrows depleted. Lies deleted. Plagues escheated. Call and He answers. No harm will befall this Lantern. Lifted up. Not slippin’ up. Lions & serpents about to get these fisticuffs. Your ego got you looking Mrs. Puff. Because He loves me. I will outlast. Time goes fast. Not focusing on the past. Avoid the snare. Cast all your care. For He who cares. Caleb gained a city. Not worried about busy. Jacob feeling thrifty. Laban witty. Leah not pretty. God used that to build a city. His promises are always with me. Believe them simply. Worry makes me empty. Submit so I can resist thee. Under my feet. Anxiety misses me. © 2021 ApollosAuthor's Note
