AbigailA Poem by ApollosKing David reflecting on Abigail.
You present yourself as a servant.
You have given up your youth towards a purpose. You sacrifice because you find it worth it. You follow our Lord. Trespasses forgiven on your accord. Permission given to be sent on a mission. The Lord will certainly make a sure house. Fighting the battles by word of mouth. Evil will hide as it cannot divide. You know the prince is here. Conscience clear as no enemy is revered. Remembrance is your blessed mirror. Song of Solomon, I'm going to call you a deer. Let's be clear that I want you near. Calm all fears, you can call me Dear. Abigail you leave a trail. Even when you fail you're well off. Have me reflecting when I want to sail off. Help me rewind. Provide me time to unwind what's on my mind. Ram out of the brook, let’s get unshook. I wanna go higher. Let’s not deny the beauty that resides inside. Time to go for a climb. Inspiration comes as the wind blows. Better receive it now so I can seek deliverance from my foes. Count my woes as I lament to Him who sits on The Throne. Let’s forgo the formalities. Cordially let’s pursue upwardly. Freedom in our roles as we flow into the unknown. © 2021 ApollosAuthor's Note
