Hush, hush as I chomp on this sweet puff, puff.
Seems so tough, tough as I sit on my butt thinking I’ve had a nough, nough. Eat my feelings instead of facing trials. Belly of the Beast I have no other rivals. Soften up this image as these hardened times leave me with more demands. Not trusting I’m in Your Hands as I please my saliva glands. Stuck in Candy Land I’ve lost my freedom standards. Flub a dub, dub I’m saturated with America’s accepted drug, drug. And that’s without even bringing up caffeine and all it’s slow roasted power. My body is aching because without that artificial sweetener the ground is shaking. Stomach grumblin’. Mind a fumblin’. Don’t come stumbling towards me with that Morning Bird attitude. I might need to show you how far the Earth’s latitude is... But look at us laughing right now as fellow addicts do. Why the protection of these precious beverages if it’s a problem? Head throbbin’ as now there’s claims I’m a citizen of Sodom when I say water will hydrate you just fine too. They asked “What is it?” Manna filling the hole the World could never fit in. Quail for when you thinking like Hell. Quit inching along like a snail and gather the Living Water available at The Well. © 2020 ApollosAuthor's Note
