Lamp to my FeetA Poem by ApollosLighting up the road less traveled.
Evil has the ability to steal, kill, and destroy me.
May they be reminded that Heaven is what implores me. I don’t have a Father who ignores me. By His grace I walk the path He lays before me. The sky provides a mantel to express Your glory. Telling a story. Spelling knowledge. Proclaiming freedom from bondage. His Law reveals the flaws, Applause over the revival of a soul. Maintaining statutes contributes to a lack of rebukes, The simple are made wise. His precepts are right, Making my heart ever so bright. His commands are radiant, Giving light to my sight. The fear of the Lord is pure, His love will always endure. His ordinances are sure and will always be the cure. Who can procure that He is obscure? Forgive me for what I had hidden in fear. Keep me from being insecure. May I not be ministered to as a prisoner. May the words of mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight. O Lord, My Rock, My Redeemer. © 2020 ApollosAuthor's Note
