PlatformA Poem by ApollosSometimes we place people on a platform they need not be.
Pulling you up will only bring me down.
How can I respect what you have to say when you don’t act like the way you pray? Self-deception is birthed by what you’re choosing as acceptable verbs. Ignorance is taught by the unlearned. Anger has furrowed my brow. Fury is not wanting me to go that extra mile. Sorrow has to be borrowed when you realize someone is acting like a child. We don’t have to be mild about what needs to be said. Pray it out and don’t bother burying the dead. © 2020 ApollosAuthor's Note
